Dragon Ball Super Episode 7 Plot Summary
On the last episode of Dragon Ball Super, Beerus had just absolutely decimated Majin Buu with minimal effort. Vegeta was looking on, convinced that this spelled doom for planet Earth.
Dragon Ball Super episode 7 begins with Beerus looking extremely displeased at the turn of events with Majin Buu. He is floating high above the cruise ship, looking down with a menacing expression on his face.
Vegeta flies up to Beerus, and pleads with him to show mercy and calm down. Beerus is not being receptive, and tells Vegeta to go away. Piccolo and Dende have taken notice of how terrified Vegeta is, and begin to wonder just who Beerus is. Dende explains that he’s sensing an energy from Beerus unlike anything he’s ever felt before.
Majin Buu resurfaces from the ocean, and he’s extremely angry. It doesn’t seem to have sunken in for him that he’s no match for Beerus. He rushes Beerus once again, and Beerus easily evades his attack, then kicks him to the deck of the ship. Beerus determines there’s no Super Saiyan God – and on top of that, he didn’t even get to try pudding. He yells down to Whis that he’s going to destroy Earth, and then head home. Just as Beerus prepares an earth-destroying energy orb, Goten and Trunks perform the fusion dance and transform into Gotenks to challenge Beerus. Gotenks launches an all out assault on Beerus, but his blows have zero effect. The only thing that even gets the attention of Beerus is when Gotenks mentions the Dragon Balls that are being stored on the ship as a prize. Beerus thinks the Dragon Balls are food.
Gotenks has begins to berate Beerus. When Beerus has had enough, he begins slapping Gotenks on the forearm like a child. Then, with a flick to the forehead from Beerus, Gotenks is neutralized.
Tien, Piccolo, and Android 18 simultaneously attack Beerus. Beerus easily evades all of their attacks. Then, with just a glance, all of the Z Fighters are violently thrown back and subdued.
Beerus is ready to destroy the Earth, but Whis pleads with him to wait until the chef finishes preparing a takeout box of Sushi. Beerus agrees to wait a while longer.
Majin Buu appears once again, and takes a third try at challenging Beerus. Beerus gives him a swift backfist and easily overpowers him once again. While Buu continues to attack Beerus in complete futility, Dende realizes who Beerus is. With a look of terror on his face, Dende exclaims that Beerus must be a god.
Gohan powers up and rushes towards Beerus, only to be instantly neutralized when Beerus literally swings Buu at him.
At this point, all of the Z Fighters are subdued, leaving only Vegeta to prevent the destruction of the Earth. Vegeta transforms into a Super Saiyan to attack Beerus, but just as he goes to throw his first punch, Beerus freezes Vegeta in mid-air with just a glance. Then, simply by applying his fingertip to Vegeta’s forehead, sends him flying towards the ground. Beerus appears above Vegeta and drives his foot into the side of Vegeta’s head, pinning him to the ground.
Once again, Beerus prepares an energy blast to destroy the Earth. Just as he is about to launch it, Bulma walks up to Beerus and slaps him across the face. Beerus isn’t hurt, obviously… but he’s shocked. The energy blast he was preparing disappears, and his gaze turns to Bulma. Bulma commands Beerus to leave. Beerus grins and gives Bulma a backhand across the face, throwing her back. This ignites a rage inside of Vegeta.
To the surprise of Beerus, the shock of seeing Bulma slapped gives Vegeta a temporary power boost far beyond his normal limits. He transforms into a Super Saiyan once again, and the power he is radiating captivates everyone at the party. Beerus’ smug expression suddenly changes to one of surprise and slight concern.
Dragon Ball Super episode 7 concludes with Vegeta swearing that he will not let Beerus get away with what he has done.
