Dragon Ball Super Episode 119 Plot Summary

On the last episode of Dragon Ball Super, the Universe 2 and Universe 6 had just been erased.

Dragon Ball Super Episode 119 begins with the battle between Vegeta and Katopesla. Vegeta and Katopesla immediately rush towards one another. After a short time, Katopesla jumps up to a high point and tells Vegeta that he is a worthy opponent, but that now he will undergo another mode change. He goes into Ultimate Battle Mode, which he claims boosts his attacks by 300 times. While Katopesla is explaining, Vegeta rushes him and cuts him off mid-sentence. Katopesla tells Vegeta it isn’t fair to cut someone off mid-sentence.

Vegeta is still only at Super Saiyan level, and Katopesla says he is going to unleash his final attack: Katopesla The Final Mission. He fires a blast, and Vegeta immediately returns fire with his Final Flash attack. Katopesla is immediately ovewhelmed and thrown back, hurtling towards the edge of the stage, but he’s able to stop himself. Then, all of a sudden, Katopesla is mysteriously swept from his feet and thrown from the stage.

Vegeta is contemplating what just happened – his first instinct is that Katopesla self-destructed. Just then, Vegeta is also swept off his feet and almost falls from the stage. From the outside of the ring, spectators also wonder what is going on. Beerus wonders if one of the other competitors is using some sort of special attack. The camera pans to Gohan, who takes a strike to his back without any apparent opponent. He’s thrown from the stage, but Piccolo saves him just in the nick of time. The other fighters begin sustaining attacks, as well – Android 18 is suddenly struck from behind. It’s now an all-out assault on Android 18, but she cannot identify who is attacking her.

Then, Beerus realizes that whatever is going on is the doing of Universe 4. Beerus asks Quitella if the attacker is an invisible person. Quitela grins but doesn’t answer.

Android 18 continues to sustain damage from the invisible competitor, and Piccolo rushes to her aid and unleashes a great deal of his energy in all directions to fry the unseeable threat. On the sidelines, Beerus speculates that the invisible enemy is trying to wear out the remaining fighters.

Gohan jumps into action and starts shooting energy blasts all over the place. Quitella laughs and identifies the invisible fighter by name, saying that Gohan won’t be Gamisaras with such a stupid method. Quitela confirms that the goal of this method is to have the fighters use up their spirit and stamina.

Suddenly, we get our first look at the invisible fighter, Gamisaras. Piccolo immediately lands a powerful blow right to the face of the chameleon-like Gamisaras. Piccolo amps up his assault on Gamisaras, and then ends the fight with an energy blast that he releases from his mouth. Gamisaras is out.

Quitela calls on the other mysterious fighter in the ring, Shantza, to spring into action. Shantza is a tiny imp-like creature with a spike on his head. He releases some sort of energy into the air, which creates a dome over Gohan and Piccolo. Inside the read dome, some of the erased fighters from Universe 9 seem to appear, but Gohan and Piccolo speculate that they’re mirages. Mirages or not, Piccolo discovers taht they can inflict damage. Goku, Android 17, and Android 18 are now being attacked by the “mirages”, as well.

Goku and Gohan realize that there are two people controlling creating the attackers. There is someone who creates the mirages and another person who controls them. Just then, Piccolo spots Shantza hiding behind the rock and blast him out of the ring. The illusions disappear, but there is still the controller to deal with.

Piccolo begins battling the other invisible fighter, and points out that this invisible fighter is even less of a threat than Gamisaras because it can’t hide its energy. Standing by the edge of the ring, suddenly Piccolo tries to land a strike based on where he is detecting an energy signature, but he misses. It seems that this fighter does have another trick up its sleeve after all.

Android 17 falls for a similar trick. He tries to throw a back kick at the invisible fighter, but misses. Android 17 begins sustaining blows and is almost knocked out of the ring, but Goku saves him just in time.

Android 17 welcomes the invisible fighter to attack him, and he begins sustaining blows. Then Android 17 realizes that the fighter isn’t invisible at all, just very small. We get our first look at the fighter – it’s a tiny bug named Damon. Goku laughs at Damon because of how tiny he is. Quitela commands Damon not to fall off.

Goku reaches down to try to grab Damon, but the bug fighter takes off and reveals his comically deep voice. Just as his power is disproportionate to his body size, so is his voice. Goku and Android 17 are still having difficulty hitting Damon because he is so tiny.

Android 17 and Goku realize that Damon can’t fly, and is just jumping around. They begin strikign at the ground, realizing that the force of their blwos will be transferred into Damon. Damon goes flying into the air due to the force, and Android 17 encapsulates him in an energy ball. He runs up, grabs the energy balls, and punts Damon off the stage. When he appears in the stands, Quitela tries to stomp on him, but even the God of Destruction misses.

Zeno announces that all of the Universe 4 fighters have been eliminated, and promptly erases Universe 4. Now all that remain are three universes: Universe 3, Universe 7, and Universe 11. 12 minutes remain in the tournament.
